Terms of Service — Daily Walk in the Word

Welcome to Daily Walk in the Word, a digital devotional platform operated by Roderick J. Glatt Ministries (“we,” “us,” “our”). By accessing or using the Daily Walk in the Word mobile app or website, you agree to the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

Acceptance of Terms

By using our app or website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the app immediately. 

Description of Service

Daily Walk in the Word provides scripture-based devotionals, Bible resources, spiritual encouragement, and community engagement features.


We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any portion of the service at any time.

Accounts & User Responsibilities

You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
You are responsible for:


  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
  • All activity that occurs within your account
  • Ensuring your device meets app requirements
  • Keeping your subscription status active
     

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Subscriptions & Payments

 Daily Walk in the Word offers two subscription tiers:


  • Free Access Path
  • Full Access Path (Paid Subscription)
     

All paid subscriptions are processed securely through Stripe on our website.  Currently, we do not use Apple App Store Billing or Google Play Billing for purchases or renewals.  By subscribing, you authorize Stripe to charge the payment method you provide. Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel. We do not store or access your complete payment card information — all processing is handled by Stripe.

Cancellation

A. Cancel Through the App

Inside the Daily Walk in the Word app, open your Profile and select:
“Manage Subscription” 


B. Cancel Through Your Confirmation Email

When you first subscribed, Stripe automatically sent a subscription confirmation email containing a secure customer-portal link. You may use that link anytime to cancel or manage your subscription. 


Canceling your subscription stops future charges, but it does not refund previously billed periods.

Your access to paid features will remain active until the end of your current billing cycle.



Refund Policy

 Refunds for Daily Walk in the Word subscriptions are processed exclusively through Stripe.
Since we do not use the Apple App Store or Google Play for billing, all refund requests must be submitted directly to us, not through any app marketplace.


Refund requests may be considered for:


  • Duplicate charges
  • Verified technical issues preventing access
  • Billing errors caused by our system
     

Refunds are not guaranteed and are granted at our discretion. For full details, please refer to our standalone Refund Policy.

Use of Content

All content within the App—including devotionals, scripture reflections, images, audio, and design—belongs to Roderick J. Glatt Ministries.


You may not:


  • Copy, reproduce, or distribute content
  • Resell or republish materials
  • Use the app for commercial purposes
     

Personal, non-commercial use is permitted.

Appropriate Use

 You agree not to:


  • Use the App for harassment, abuse, or inappropriate conduct
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, or damage the App
  • Post harmful, profane, or illegal content
     

We may remove content or terminate access at our discretion.

Availability & Modifications

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the App at any time.
We are not liable for:


  • Service interruptions 
  • Data loss
  • Server outages
  • Feature changes

Limitation of Liability

Daily Walk in the Word is provided “as is” and “as available.”

We are not liable for:


  • Damages resulting from app use
  • Data loss
  • Device issues
  • Third-party service errors (including Stripe)
     

Maximum liability is limited to the amount you paid in the previous 12 months.

Spiritual & Crisis Disclaimer

 The App provides devotional content, not counseling or crisis intervention.
For emergencies, contact:


  • 911

  • Local clergy or mental health professionals
